Welcome to the Dippool Curling Club home
page.
Our Club was instituted in 1849
and admitted to the R.C.C.C. in 1929. The Club has its origins in the
small Lanarkshire village of Auchengray near Forth, Scotland and takes
its name from a burn, the Dippool Water which flows near the village |
|
The Dippool doth start
at Wester Mosshat
and trickles its way to the Pool
Where a pond it was formed

They'd come w'ie their stanes
Their wives and their weans
They'd come from all over the Nation
They'd come from all airts
in horses and cairts
and arrive at Auchengrey Station
